Tujuan Training :
- Memberikan pemahaman mendasar hingga lanjutan mengenai teknik pemboran migas dan aspek keselamatan well control.
- Membekali peserta dengan keterampilan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta pengendalian operasi pengeboran.
- Melatih peserta mengidentifikasi potensi masalah pengeboran dan melakukan tindakan pencegahan/penanganan kick dan blowout.
- Meningkatkan kompetensi peserta dalam penggunaan peralatan drilling & well control sesuai standar internasional (API, IADC, IWCF).

- Tahapan drilling project (planning – execution – evaluation).
- Well Planning
- Well trajectory design (vertical, directional, horizontal drilling).
- Casing design, cementing program.
- Drilling fluid design dan fungsi (mud properties, hydraulics, rheology).
- Bit selection & performance.
- Drilling Operations
- Rig components & systems (rotary, top drive, hoisting system, circulation system, BOP stack).
- Drilling hydraulics & pressure losses.
- Drill string design dan bottom hole assembly (BHA).
- Problems in drilling: stuck pipe, lost circulation, wellbore instability.
- Well Control – Basic Concepts
- Tekanan bawah permukaan (formation pressure, pore pressure, fracture gradient).
- Kick detection & indicators.
- Causes of kick & blowout.
- Safety culture & international standards (API RP53, IADC WellCAP, IWCF).
- Well Control Methods
- Primary, secondary, tertiary well control.
- Well shut-in procedures.
- Circulating methods: Driller’s method, Wait & Weight method.
- Kick tolerance & MAASP (Maximum Allowable Annular Surface Pressure).
- Well Control Equipment
- Blowout Preventer (BOP): type, function, operation.
- Choke manifold, kill line, accumulator system.
- Maintenance & testing of well control equipment.
- Case Studies & Simulation
- Studi kasus blowout & lesson learned.
- Drilling problem solving (lost circulation, stuck pipe, gas influx).
- Hands-on training dengan simulator well control (jika tersedia).
